Government District Open Days – the NCSC awaits you
29.06.2023 - The Federal Constitution is celebrating its 175th anniversary and to mark the occasion, the federal government in Bern is opening its doors on 1 and 2 July 2023. The National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC) is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Open Federal Mile at its outdoor stand near the Federal Palace East Wing, and to exchanging ideas and information on cybersecurity.
Test your cyberknowledge:
The NCSC will be presenting the NCSC quiz for the first time at the Open Federal Mile. Visitors will have the opportunity to test their cyberknowledge on nine topics (passwords/malware/social media/mobile phones/types of fraud/WiFi/email/travelling abroad/data backup) at two information terminals and to test their cyberfitness.
Report cyberincidents:
The NCSC accepts reports of cyberincidents from the public via an interactive web form and makes recommendations in relation to cyberincidents. These reports are instrumental in identifying possible cyberthreat trends and are an important indicator of ongoing activities in cyberspace. The NCSC will use a digital reporting form to show visitors how to report cyberincidents and where to find specific assistance to deal with cyberincidents.
Get cybertips:
The current national awareness campaign S-U-P-E-R focuses on password security. Stolen user data is often at the origin of a cyberattack. Strong passwords can prevent considerable damage. The NCSC, Swiss Crime Prevention (SCP) and the cantonal and city police forces, with the support of the internet security platform iBarry and "eBanking – but secure!" (EBAS), are conducting a national awareness campaign.
