NCS Strategy

National Cyberstrategy NCS

The cyberstrategy sets out the objectives and measures with which the federal government and the cantons, together with the business community and universities, intend to counter cyberthreats.

Objectives and measures

The NCS pursues five strategic objectives and defines 17 measures. The measures build on previous activities and specify how these need to be expanded, further developed and supplemented in order to achieve the strategic objectives.

Implementation NCS

Implementation of the strategy will be coordinated by the NCS Steering Committee, which is responsible for drawing up an implementation plan. The plan will be drawn up in direct consultation with the key actors involved in the individual measures.

NCS steering committee

A steering committee has been set up to manage the NCS implementation process. It supports the federal, cantonal, business and academic bodies concerned in implementing the NCS in a targeted and effective manner.
