Standards and methods
The NCSC provides standards and methods to improve cyber resilience: the Cybersecurity and Resilience Method (CSRM) for process security, ICT minimum standards for critical infrastructure and, in future, an assessment tool that will enable organisations to measure their cyber resilience maturity levels.
Switzerland’s economy and society. By combining well-established processes, minimum technical requirements and modern assessment tools, the NCSC has created a uniform basis for identifying and managing digital risks.

ICT minimum standard
ICT minimum standards protect critical infrastructure against cyber risks. These standards are mandatory in the electricity and gas sectors, and are recommended for all other sectors. To strengthen ICT resilience, the NCSC provides sector-specific standards.

Cyber Security and Resilience Method (CSRM)
The NCSC has developed a Cybersecurity and Resilience Method (CSRM) to help organisations and businesses improve how they identify risks, protect their systems and respond to cyberthreats.

Recommendations for employee security screenings in companies
Thorough employee security screenings help reduce risk for roles that have access to sensitive data. The NCSC's recommendations explain what companies should consider when carrying out screenings, as well as how to interpret the results.
