The aim of awareness-raising measures is to shape user behaviour such that each individual user can navigate cyberspace safely, thereby helping to improve overall cybersecurity. The objectives are reached incrementally through public information campaigns and training on specific topics. As users become aware of their responsibilities and contribute to cybersecurity, a cultural shift is achieved.
